What makes us different from our competition is that fact that we have a retail location and offer full service jewelry sales and repairs. Our prices are driven by mainly 2 factors while our competition only sets their prices based on market value of scrap gold.

There is a big market in Ottawa for estate jewelry. Someone's junk may be someone else's treasure! We also sell online and on eBay and have the power of e-commerce to be able to offer our products world wide. You would be surprised how many items we would consider marketable and would be able to offer more than the so-called "scrap" value for your gold. Our competitors who recycle gold often would tell you that we will only attempt to sell a tiny portion of your items and it is not worth wasting your time shopping your items around! This is just a clever marketing ploy to prevent you from shopping around and being persuaded into accepting their offer. Due to the high prices of gold today, their offer often seems great! Most customers are even a little surprised to find out how much their gold is worth and don't even consider getting another estimate. That's unfortunate... did you know you could do even better? You have nothing to lose by shopping around and giving us a try!
Even if we don't find that your items are marketable or resalable, we would still pay you more than gold buyers that recycle gold. Remember we also do jewelry repairs and custom orders. We have a constant need for scrap gold that we use for that purpose. Our scrap gold buying prices are always better than our competition. We pay up to 80% of market prices for gold and up to 94% for gold bullion.
